| - Volvo of Phoenix on Bell Road is the worst place for customer service. I thought when I bought a Volvo that I would also be buying great customer service, how untrue. The service is like the location, horrible. My representative was Jake, he was so incompetent, they all are over there. I think it is how it's managed and the staff are a mirror of the management. They just don't care and do the absolute minimum to help you. You have to go there with questions and equipped with research so that they don't try to pile you off. Don't buy the extended warranty, waste of money because every time you have an issue Volvo, well at least there will charge you just to look at it, even under warranty so you are out of pocket each time you suspect something is wrong. It is cheaper and more honest to go to a auto repair, they will at least take a look and tell you what is wrong with your car without charging you to do it. Some items were so simple like resetting my battery message - $85 for a two minute job - no courtesy whatsoever. No other dealership does that.
Every time I went there it was a bad experience I swore I would never buy another Volvo again. I am up for a new car as mine approaches 80K mark. I am looking at Lexus, they are not that different in price and their service is exceptional. I did hear that the Tempe Volvo was much better so I may try them.
If you want to buy a Volvo - they are great cars, try another dealership for the service you deserve, goodness Volvo's are not cheap. The guys there should be working at a used car sales at the lowest rank, they are awful. I am in the process of writing to their head office and making an official complaint, I think they should be aware of the service and the bad name they are giving the product.
