  • Chip-N-Dales are what I consider a premiere landscaping company. There are cheaper options, but expect a cheaper result. I have seen some negative reviews in regards to their pricing or sales, but I can say they set the expectations up front. I can understand how they can come off snobbish and give sticker shock, but there is a reason why I believe they are worth the extra cost. First, they are professional. They show up on time, and are very good at project management. The whole crew comes out and knocks it out all at once. Traditional contractors I have worked with do a little over a large amount of time. I don't like being inconvenienced, I have dogs and a difficult work schedule. Second, the materials they use are high end. Third, they put in extra provisions that others would consider additional cost. For example, they put in a french drain to help with the irrigation of my particular yard. No extra cost. They put in air irrigation around my large plants. They also reworked and replaced my back flow valve to get it out of an inconvenient and rather ugly location. They installed a top of the line irrigation controller. They did extremely complex shape for my pavers and fake grass. The lighting was installed in my front and back yard. In closing, landscaping is expensive, I rather be proud, and provide a wow factor if I am going to make the investment.
