I had a bunionectomy a few weeks ago (I know, who gets a bunion at age 25?) and can't drive my car because it's a stick shift. Since my mom lives in New York but her car lives here, I've been driving around in her car. But my mom came to visit this past weekend, and I also had a friend in town so I needed a car. Enter Enterprise.
I was just going to rent a car for Friday, and then have my boyfriend chauffer my friend and I around the rest of the weekend. But Enterprise has an amazing weekend deal- only $9.99/day if you rent the car Friday-Monday, so it ended up being cheaper to get a car the whole weekend instead of one day. I did have to wait a little while when picking up the car as they only had 2 people working, but returning it literally took less than 30 seconds. Everyone I encountered was super friendly, which is especially amazing considering it was 7a.m.
My only complaint is how the present your insurance options. I hardly rent cars, so I always forget how the whole insurance thing works. Instead of telling you it's optional to get the insurance, Enterprise tends to ask "Which insurance package will you be selecting?" I wish they would be a little more transparent with the process.
