I was really excited to try this place because my boyfriends family loves eating here. I thought it was just okay.
The heavily decorated interior was a bit much for my taste and the loud music made it hard to talk to one another. Our table and menus had that "sticky diner feel".
We ordered the giant pretzel with cheese sauce and that was the best part of the meal by far. For dinner I ordered the weiner schnitzel and it was bland and overly greasy. It came with a side of fried German potatoes that were also coated in grease and flavorless. However I will give credit to their sausage. My boyfriend ordered the kilometer and that was phenomenal. I regret not getting the chocolate cake everyone raves about because it looked incredible.
The staff was great and id give them 5 stars for customer service. Id come back to try more of their sausage options just to give it another chance. Maybe German food just isn't for me.
