I recently traveled to Orlando, Florida and happened to come across one of the wonderful Whole Foods chain. I had a wonderful experience there so when i came back to Toronto i decided to visit our own Whole Foods in yorkville. Well, i'm sorry to say that my visit there was less than great. I found everything sooo much more expensive than what they sell in U.S. Plus after our outrageous taxes, the prices are even higher than it already is. As for the Salad/buffet bar, I am not really that satisfied. They have a lot less selections of food, and many of them are not really that healthy. Also, the prices of the vitamins are double that of the ones in U.S.
I understand that yorkville is a wealthy area, but still. Even Big carrot products are more reasonably priced! I am kinda disappointed, and in the mean time i would prefer to go to kensington market, or st. lawrence market for my organic groceries. :(
