| - I have a 130 lb Bullmastiff with hard nails, so they are HUGE and super hard to cut. To add to the level of difficulty they are also black, so it is virtually impossible to see where his quick is. Basically, I'm a chicken and don't want to hurt my dog, so I usually get his nails cut at the vet.
I heard that this place, right near my home, will also do dog nails for just over $10 on a drop in appointment so today we went to give them a go. The girls who were there were very sweet and attentive to my dog. He's very easy going and the only thing he really minds about having his nails clipped is having to stand up for so long, but as I said, his nails are hard and dark, so not an easy job. They were very careful and persistent. They made sure his nails were trimmed well, but didn't go so far as to hurt him at all. He came out a very happy camper!!
I really loved that the wall between the store and grooming area is glass, so we could see everything that was going on, and how he was doing with his first nail session with a new person.
Overall, great price, really great job, and I will certainly be going back for his nail trims!
