  • Chain Italian isn't high on our list but we had a gift certificate so why not.... I was pleasantly surprised! Complimentary bread (soft, crusty, warm, yumm-o!) and olive oil/spices to dip in got us started in the right direction. We ordered spiedino di mare (grilled shrimp w/ some kind of breadcrumb topping & cream sauce) and broccoli from the regular menu and espresso rubbed ribeye w/ garlic mashed potatoes off the specials. Salads with both entrees. We were both delighted with our choices. The steak was cooked as ordered and enough for 2 meals. It was all I could do to stop myself from licking the shrimp cream sauce off my plate. Did I mention I was surprised? Yes, well it was a very enjoyable meal. Service was basically good, we were in and out within 1 hour. Total for our meals w/ 1 soda came to $45. Not open for lunch during the week. Too bad!
