  • I had always heard great things about Men's Wearhouse. My cousin chose them for his tux rentals for his wedding on Oct 13. I flew out from Los Angeles to be in this wedding, having had my measurements done 2 weeks prior in LA. I went in on the 11th to be fitted & pick up the tux. Everything fit, the young lady told me she was going to press the jacket for me & for me to just leave everything hanging on the door, which I did on their respective hangers. When she bagged it all up & brought it to the front, I paid my remaining $120 and went on my way. On the morning of the wedding (the 13th), I went to get dressed but I couldn't because the pants & shirt were both missing! I met the rest of the groomsmen at the hotel where the reception was to be held, since my cousin went & picked up the missing items for me to try & minimize the extra time we'd have to pay for the limo bus. (We ended up paying an additional 30 minutes for the delay thanks to this fiasco). When I returned the tux on the 14th, I got no apology of any kind, no asking if I'd like to speak to a manager, NOTHING, even though I made sure to mention the additional cost for the limo. The young man who accepted my return (and verified all items were intact) didn't even react when I told him what had happened. He just processed my return to get me out the door. (I didn't bother to ask for a manager at this point because if his/her employees had an attitude this bad when it came to customer service, it's OBVIOUS that they are either trained this way, or they are following their manager's pathetic "lead by example" style of customer service). It doesn't end there. Because of their pathetic attitude, I emailed the corporate office of Men's Wearhouse that same night detailing all that had occurred. I included email address AND phone number and as of this posting, FIVE DAYS LATER I STILL HAVE HEARD NOTHING BACK FROM THEM! Overall I paid just over $140 for a tuxedo rental, as well as having to pay the additional time for the limo bus being held up ($75), and they can't even take the time to respond to my concern?? That is beyond pathetic! I am now contacting my attorney, and will be letting them handle it from here since Men's Wearhouse doesn't seem to care AT ALL!
