| - This is first negative review I've given on Yelp and only writing in hope the the owner (female) will learn something simple, "When you make a mistake, offer an apology and don't blame the client."
Simple story: I had two racquetball racquets that I wanted to be restrung and re-gripped. I asked the price for the strings and the grips was satisfied with the price, and she added "we will put them on for you", (which I later learned was for the grip only). I told her that these were not expensive racquets and did not want to spend much on new strings.
So, when picking up the racquets the charge was 2.5 TIMES THE PRICE of what I was quoted and included a previously undisclosed service fee, far more than the value of the racquets!!
I do not think that she was intentionally hiding the service fee but she make a huge blunder by not informing me. What made this worse was when she said to me, "You should have asked, this is your mistake!" Are you kidding me? How would I even know that the cost of stringing was not included in the price of the strings? Or that cost of putting the grip on was not included in the cost of the grip? I should have been offered a lower service fee due to the misunderstanding, instead she lost a future customer.
This is probably a great place, likely the best in town, and I sincerely hope that the owner will do better by other customers.
