Hubby and I promised to take our daughter to this park which is east of Fremont Street. It is only a few blocks away from Flippin' Burgers.
As we got there, there were activities in the park for kids. The playground is centrally located as the gates were watched by security who makes sure the kids are with their parents. Seems like there is not to much to do but go down slides. There is a level where you have to be taller than 4'7". A guy was manning the entrance to that slide. There are no swings or anything else but big building blocks that were taken by little toddlers. Not too many places to sit.
Surrounding the playground were little shops and food eateries. We saw a bbq place, Mexican food shop, candy shop, etc. My daughter got to make her own paper lantern with the help of her dad and a girl who was guiding the kids to make it.
After that, we saw a lion dance/dragon performance. Good for all ages. There were stands giving free stuff such as bags, cell phone chargers, ear buds, etc. Very cool. The only thing I disliked was how crowded it got. I don't like crowds. Other than that, I enjoyed looking at the shops. Good for the family and kids. Take them here.
