  • We've stayed at the MGM Grand three times recently and this was our first time at Whiskey Down. It was a great experience! I just ordered a beer because I am lame and do not like whiskey. My husband ordered the Whiskey in the Jar, one of their signature cocktails, with mint and watermelon juice. I tried it and immediately regretted not ordering it. Even I, a self-proclaimed whiskey hater, enjoyed it. We also had excellent service from one of the bartenders, who was from Texas. We had a good time just chatting with him. He was so kind.. he even comped one our drinks just because! Plus he was very knowledgeable about whiskey (I only know this from overhearing him talking to some other patrons about the different whiskeys they have). We had such a good time and I think we will be making this part of our Vegas tradition moving forward!
