  • I do not like to give bad reviews but this place gives me no choice. We were very happy when Galaxy opened here: luxurious reclining seats, milkshake for kids, beer for adults, everything seemed great. We do not go to the movies very often, and when we do it's because we want to experience a much expected movie on the big screen. That was the case with Star Trek Beyond, which Galaxy ruined for us by projecting it super dark, where we could barely see what was going on. My husband walked out and asked them to fix the brightness, but they didn't. Now, we went to see Fantastic Beasts. First, one of the ushers came in during previews to tell us that they might be rolling Doctor Strange. When the movie started, it was in a pale sepia tone, and for the first hour we were wondering if WB made a colorless movie, until the screen went black. Then it picked up the movie in full color. To add to that, the expensive popcorn tasted stale and the restroom was dirty. For a place that calls itself "luxury" theater and charges so much, it is not worth it. I don't think our family will be wasting any more money at this theater to get a bad movie experience.
