  • Pork Chop - delicious, but slightly overcooked Duck - outstanding, as always Brussels Sprout - decent Potato Soup - superb Chicken Livers - decadent So, yeah...the meal was very good. The service was bizarre, at best. It was like the server was afraid of us? She certainly seemed taken aback by the fact that we had questions and clear ideas about what we did & didn't want And she was strangely confused when after waiting 15-20 minutes to receive our entrees, we asked what had been the delay. Like seriously, she told us there hadn't been a delay. Not sure if us looking at her like she had just sprouted wings and taken flight is what made her later come back & acknowledge that we had seriously sat at our table and had our appetizer plates removed and sat there. And sat there. and sat there. With little acknowledgement that we were even sitting there, much less an offer for more water or wine or any-darned-thing. So, again, delicious food. Very strange service. When I make a reservation (through Open Table or not) I really don't expect to have to call the restaurant to confirm??? Happy to have been offered complementary dessert to compensate for the delayed entrees. Still a little baffled that homegirl didn't seem to have the language to make it make sense during the wait. Will we return? [sigh] That's a tough one.
