  • This is a great place. If you enjoy actual soda fountains, this place will make you feel like you stepped back in time. Mostly because, their furnishings remain unchanged. And, they even have a whole vintage shop inside, right when you walk in. It's a cool trip down memory lane, even if you're young. Up until recently, I wasn't aware of all the different vegetarian items they have. That's important to me, and so that was a cool surprise. The staff is sometimes coolly detached, but that's not a bad thing. Anything the spot "lacks" is compensated for with the employees' FUN HUMOR and great customer service. If you need a recommendation... just ask. It's worth it. Don't go with "regular" here... try some of their "non-traditional" items. I'm not sure how many of these dishes are from the soda fountain era. BUT... the flavors are always great. (They have funny names for most of the items.) Kids would love this place. Last thing, the management is reasonable. So if you need something, or are curious about something, ask them. They love talking about their business.
