  • I absolutely love this Fitness Center which is focused around the largest indoor climbing facility in Nevada. The community culture that they cultivate is really quite inspiring. Local artists works as art on the wall as well as for sale. I've seen them support local authors, too. As a fairly novice climber, I never feel intimidated that both the staff nor the other climbers get frustrated with the newbies. Most folks will help you out if you aren't doing something 100% correct. And in Las Vegas heat, having an indoor place to enjoy a fit activity in climate controlled building, it's a blessing all year round. There is a full fitness studio as well as yoga classes that are available besides the climbing. So if you're looking for an interesting gym alternative, consider origin. It's located by the Valley Auto Mall in an industrial park area. It can be a little bit tricky to find the first time as you can see it from the 215 but not from the street that it's located on. My last tip, if you're not ready to commit to a monthly membership, try buying a punch pass. It'll give you a block of entries to come and try it for yourself and/or friends. Everything that you need to go climbing aside from your comfortable clothing is available for rent at origin or you can buy it retail if you're ready to commit.
