  • I came here to have a flat bike tire fixed and the guy who did it was super helpful and very fast. He recommended a new tire, replaced the tube and tire, and pumped up both tires - all within 20 minutes. I also asked him to take a look at my gear shifting and while he told me my bike's derailleur was too ancient to fix it was still very helpful to know! Also, the price was also a lot cheaper than I was expecting! Tubes themselves are only a few dollars, the tire was less than $20, and install cost $12 I think. If you've never been to MEC before you should be aware that they are a co-op and they only sell to members. Joining is $5 and you are a member for life! MEC is also a Canadian company, which is an extra bonus from my point of view!
