| - assuming the reason I'm their 1st review is because I cant even figure out the name of this place. The card given to me for my appt says "OrthoArizona" The website says "spine-health" and somewhere on there I found "Center for Spinal disorders" perhaps to avoid bad reviews??
Anyways, to the chase. If you're anything like me and have excruciating back pain and want results...DO NOT GO HERE! They are your typical 'go through the motions, write you pain prescriptions, bill your insurance and collect your copay, lack of integrity business, that has little to no desire or hopes that you no longer suffer.
Long story short. Xrays were taken, nothing was found. I bent over. Nope not scoliosis! My back was never even touched to address placement of spine, bones, muscle tension etc. I explained I'm in tons of pain but didn't want drugs that would cause drowsiness, as I work a lot. I was prescribed Tylenol with Codeine (which goes against everything I requested.)
I called weeks later to inform them that the meds weren't helping at all, the pain is getting worse and can they please write me a script for an MRI. NOONE ever called me back. Keep in mind that when I made the appt they called me obsessively everyday to remind me to fill out my paperwork even though I had 2 weeks before my appt.
My business partner finally called and demanded to speak with someone after weeks of no returned phone calls. They finally spoke with me and refused to write a script for an MRI unless I came back in for a follow up. Basically so they can make more money off my insurance. Today I went to "Pain Stop" They too did xrays and discovered major curvature in my spine, lactic acid build up and muscle tension. Thank God for businesses who care and help get to the bottom of your pain. With that being said I would NEVER recommend this place.
