I'm still not a fan of the airports where you after you've taken a plane, now you have to take a bus to get to your car. It's annoying, it's disturbing to the flow, and it adds a bunch of time to a process that really needs to be efficient and speedy.
It's not as bad as Las Vegas or Baltimore, because at Phoenix Sky Harbor they have separate buses for each terminal of the airport. This means that you're not standing at Stop 4 and watching a bus that's full of passengers from stops 1 and 2 and 3 zoom by while you wait in the heat.
Driver was good outbound and inbound. With a couple of very small kids sitting on the last row of the bus, he took extra care to decelerate slowly lest someone take a tumble. He also assisted with unloading bags.
The rental center has clearly marked signs to get to the various rental agency counters (or bypass them if you're a member) and the signage from the highway was easy to find the rental car center (which is a separate exit from the airport itself).
