  • Today was my first experience at Grouchy John's physical location. The staff is very pleasant and ready to help you make a decision within a moment of getting there. I tried a medium size OG (salted caramel and vanilla) iced coffee. I think it was a bit sweet for my liking, but it was said to be a favorite amongst customers. The staff asked whether I enjoyed it or wanted something else, but I kept my drink cause the sugariness was enough to keep me alert during my stay. I played a few board games in the back of the shop on some nice round tables. The rest of the customers there were doing some type of personal work on laptops or were in study groups. They cater to a very young crowd of college students. The colors of the venue pop with bright orange. The place is clean, the bathroom could be a bit cleaners, but everything was really pleasant. The atmosphere is just right for study groups. The staff checks in on the groups regularly and offers water and refills. I know they care if their guests are happy. I'll let you know, I'm definitely happy. I hope my board game group continues to come here.
