I tried to give this hotel so many chances. But alas - you can put a lipstick on a pig and it is still a pig.
It has a fancy lobby and kind of reminiscent of a Real World House. So it strikes you as cool and hip and perhaps new. But I believe it was just an old facade slapped with some new (wobbly) IKEA furniture.
To begin - they don't have enough people staffed at ANY part of the hotel. My service for meals at the restaurant never took any less than an hour and ordering was always a sit and wait game.
The front desk was always struggling to keep up. Calling down for valet service would just ring and ring and rings. And then the actual valet - woof. It didn't matter what time of day it was. It would take approx 20 minutes to get a vehicle. From a lot a mere 50 yards away. It just seemed like there was no level of dedication or work ethic to hell please guests.
The room - well my clock was missing the hands, the wallpaper was peeling, the air conditioner had a very obnoxious clicking sound, the shower pressure was a drizzle, and the mini bar was an empty fridge. The bed was somewhat comfortable I suppose.
I always hate leaving bad reviews - but maybe it will help them in the long run.
