These ladies were at a health fair that I attended earlier this year so I purchased a gift certificate from them. I was interested since all their products offered were organic and from Hungary. This is where my husband is from so I thought, the products must be good. It was easy to set up my appointment and even though my gift certificate was to expire in October, they were kind enough to extend it into November. I appreciated the extension.
So, not an easy spa to find. I found the building ok, but there is zero advertising listed. I had to call so I knew which end of the building they were in and this made me a few minutes late. They seemed to be ok with this thank goodness. I had to fill out a questionnaire which asked me some health and skin questions. I am glad they took the time to find out if I had any sensitivities or allergies.
I received my facial from Destiny. She was very nice and helped me get comfortable. Her technique was a little rough for me and I felt like my face was going through a work out. I found that I wasn't relaxed and it one point, I wanted to tell her to Stop! I am not sure why the rough technique, but I much prefer a softer touch. I did really like the Eminence products and decided to purchase one of the masks. Every product that she used smelled really good and felt so good on my face. I did not wear any makeup for the rest of the weekend and I even received a compliment from a friend on how good my face looked. I know my skin appreciated the break as well.
The grounds outside offer a pretty little court yard that is relaxing. Overall the experience was just ok. I might return but maybe ask for a different esthetician.
