  • Had a weird rattling going on which turned out to be a loose heat shield. Apparently it is common. Got the call with the quote to fix it ($50) along with a list of other problems that I declined to fix (since they all developed after I had my car there a week ago for the state inspection). I agreed to only fix the heat shield. Got a call back less than 15 minutes later to let me know it was fixed. Got to the payment counter and suddenly the total was $69 with the only line item of "labor." For 15 minutes? Oh and after I declined to fix a couple of other items, the price for those items was revised to a lower amount. Really? Glad all this happened BEFORE I purchased a new car, because it won't be from this place.
