  • The gym itself is beautiful. State of the art and you can tell they spend a lot of money keeping it running well and up to date. The staff.... could be better. 1) When I went in to join, the salesman was very polite and had all the time in the world for me - right up until I signed my name on the dotted line. Then he was very rude and acted like he had a million things to do and I was wasting his time. 2) The salesperson INSISTED I use myLTbucks right then! Fine, I didn't care. But BE WARNED! When you use your LTBucks, it automatically puts you into a recurring payment for whatever you decided to use them on. I signed up for a month of the master's swim team and was shocked when I was charged for the swim team the next month! I stopped by the service counter a couple days later to talk to them about it, and the incredibly rude woman there insisted I had signed something saying I wanted to continue with it, and if I didn't want to continue I should have filled out a cancellation form that day. Excuse me? I wasn't even told I needed to cancel something that was supposed to be free!!!! Not only that, but you need to give them 30 days notice in order to cancel. Which means that I had to pay for a second month that I didn't use because I only gave them 28 days notice to cancel something I never agreed to. 3) At about 10pm they lock the doors and the only way to get into the gym is by ringing the buzzer. That's fine... if the person who was on duty was paying attention. I stood there one night and had to ring the buzzer 4x (for about 5min) before anyone came to the door. Why am I paying so much money if I can't even get in whenever I want? I almost left because I honestly thought maybe the person fell asleep and I wouldn't be able to get in at all. 4) Last, but certainly not least. My one and only spa service. A facial. First, the woman told me I have dry skin (which I don't). She then proceeded to try to sell me face moisturizer, cleanser, eye cream, and toner, as well as hand cream, foot cream, and body cream. I'm not kidding. It was ridiculous. I love facials, but it's beyond annoying when the woman tries to sell, sell, sell. More than likely, if she wasn't so pushy, I would have gone back and gotten another facial there. My skin felt smooth and hydrated after she was done, but it wasn't worth my time since she wouldn't stop talking to me and trying to sell stuff to me. All in all, be very careful when you sign up for anything and expect to go into this gym saying NO to any employee (or should I call them salesperson?) that you speak with.
