The pool. The deck. The sunbathing. The bathing. People are even swimming in the lanes - practicing their different swimming strokes.
You enter through the change room. For $.25 you can use a day locker. Make sure you have a viable pocket to safeguard your key, or pin it to your swimsuit. Literally pin it on! No pinterest here. There are enough showers to clean yourself before going in and out of the water. If you are shy to change clothes in front of others, there are individual change areas, but be quick because they are few!
There are technically 3 pools here. A kiddy pool. A diving pool, but I didn't stroll over there. And the olympic pool, which is carved out into different areas by the floating separators. You can frolic and you can swim without interrupting others. Unfortunately, you do get the precocious little kids who eschew the kiddy pool and want to be more grown up than they are. So, they will splash and pretend to do swimming strokes next to you.
The deck is amazing, You can get a great tan. Vitamin D. Unwind. Read a book. People watch. It is a slice of heaven in this busy city.
