  • The only movie theatre with 4DX in Toronto right now. 4DX is pretty cool if you have never done it before. We came to see Deadpool 2. The seats moved, water gets sprayed at you, you get knocked in the back of your chair (like a massage) when there is an action scene, there's fog, wind, and a weird scent that gets sprayed once in awhile. Seats are big with a lot of leg room, but you can't put the arms up. 4DX is in it's own movie theatre and you can pre-select seats online. I liked the experience because it's my first time in 4DX, but I do have to say, I got bored after awhile because it's the same motions/scenes. It gets repetitive after awhile. However, Deadpool 2 was pretty good and the motions made it better in my opinion. The ticket is $21.99, which is a bit cheaper than VIP. You can still go to VIP to enjoy a drink and food prior to going to 4DX. One rant - the cineplex website sucks as it doesn't tell you if there is a separate theatre for this. I wasn't sure if it was like DBOX where there's only a selected amount of seats in a regular theatre or if it would be in it's own theatre. It is in its own theatre, but interestingly enough, it wasn't in 3D. I wonder what it would be like in 3D with all the motions etc. A tip, don't bring a hot drink as it may spill as the seats move.
