  • CAUTION: the old couple that man the entrance are grumpy as hell! i even tried to lighten the mood with some humor and they were not having it. Pros: - a lot of fire wagons, engines, patches, history - they provide a 3 ring binder which i'm sure is useful but difficult to read when we are monitoring our children - their is a young child section for kids to play around on a mini fire engine - 1 exhibit that can be touched and kids can climb on - very reasonably priced Cons: - the grumpy couple at the entrance - the surrounding barriers are wooden posts with the white plastic chains. i was trying to not breathe hard so they wouldn't fall over - awesome exhibit but taking my 5 and 2 year old boys was a handful
