  • I know this place well...its a plie of crap and if I could dissuade anybody from moving there, I would. The only nice thing is the lake. Not that's there anything wrong with section 8, I understand why it exist, but, there are certian people that live there for free who don't care about the criminal aspect they bring to the property...to say its dangerous there at night is a gross understatement! Its dirty and although the new maintenance staff tries to keep it clean...it would be like trying to clean up the city landfill...it'll never happen! The plumbing is screwed and unless they remove all the walls inside and out...it will always be bad. Get renters insurance, at some point, your apartment will flood. The air conditioning/heating systems are 40+ years old and break down on a regular basis...everything will be fine, as long as its 76ยบ outside everyday and all year long. You'll love the manager...she's a real peach! She lies...if you need the number to their corperate office, she'll tell you there isn't one and give you an e-mail address...don't waste your time writing a letter...the e-mail goes back to her! The maintenance staff is pretty good...their just short handed and can't get to everything in a timely manner. They offer "renovated" models, however, the a/c's and plumbing stay the same abd its basically like putting lip stick on a pig...you made it look pretty, but its still a pig! I'd stay away from this city dump
