  • My SO lives spitting distance from the Common so I find myself there very often these days. Usually on a busy weekend morning. Ed (the owner) is nothing but charming and the homemade apple turnovers are a dream. I get sad when he's not there but everyone needs a day off. Last I checked the plugs seemed to be working again. The clientele on college street seems to have shifted towards more of the bro variety due to it's proximity to the Ossington strip but that's not the cafe's fault. I have grown to truly love The Common and all of it's quirks. Cheapest and best americano in town.
