I attended a Saturday afternoon wedding at this new facility on Highway 49 (see photos).I had no idea it would be an outdoor wedding until the day before so I was prepared. Many of the heels I saw were buried deep in the pebbles (not cute).
They have a small private room in back of the restrooms for dressing. The ceremony took place outdoors facing the fountain on the lake followed by refreshments on the patio area. The reception took place in the hall and it was very comfortable. It is a nice facility for an event.
What you need to be aware of:
1. The season. Canker worms were in full force during the ceremony.
2. The railroad. Freight trains ran at east twice while I was outside. During the ceremony, however, none were heard.
3. The pebbles in the walkway to the outdoor seating area. Remind your guests to dress appropriately.
