I need to be 100% honest with you: I don't love Burntwood. It's part of a restaurant group with mixed reviews on their food and service.
However, even if I don't love it, I can respect it. The Solon location is constantly slammed and is a beautiful building with a huge patio. The food is upscale American fare with sandwiches, salads, entrees, and some specials. The beer list is long, but not overly diverse, and I think this is the first place I ever paid $8 a pint for an IPA. The food is fine, but it's not really trying to be great. It's a lot like the Rusty Bucket in that regard. Despite that, visiting with lowered expectations actually provides a better experience.
The staff was courteous and helpful, and has been on every visit.
