How about organic and locally sourced groceries delivered near home at the same price as the grocery store? The service itself auto selects your basket worth $30, however you have 72 hours to add/remove as you wish, so long as your order is at minimum $15. From my experience the auto $30 basked doesn't give you bang for your buck. My personal tricks include heading right to the "deals" section, and always grabbing the $4.50 "not so pretty but quite tasty" random veggies. For the same price as the grocery store I got insanely better produce delivered practically to my door (my pickup point is the dep across from home). I just got my first Lufa delivery and it could not have gone better. As a frugal shopper I already do my groceries based on whats on sale that week and Lufa has specials that run weekly as well as a few basket freebies. Although some items in the marketplace are significantly more expensive, you can shop Lufa intelligently and get a great deal. All my groceries this week costed me the same, if not less than at my local grocery store (except my free range eggs that aren't even available at a grocery store by me - sadly as someone who used to have farm fresh eggs these ones were not up to par). For just under $40 after tax I couldn't be more impressed. Although prices change based on seasonality and weekly specials, here's my prices from this week's delivery to give you an idea of what you can get if you take the time to look around their marketplace St Methode 9 grain loaf - 3.95 Fresh Basil - 0.50 (came with roots, was able to replant) Surprise greens (1 head) - 2.00 Imperfect rainbow carrots (2lbs) - 2.75 Carrots (2 lbs) - 2.00 Vanilla Yogurt (750g) - 3.00 Red Potatoes (2 lbs) - 1.85 Organic Whole Wheat Pita (6?) - 2.75 Surprise Microgreens (living trays of watercrest this week) - 2.00 Free range eggs (6) - 2.75 White Mushrooms - 1.95 Spring mix - 3.00 Natural Peanut Butter - 4.00 Sprouted Mung Beans & Lentils - 4.30 Deep Purple Carrot Seeds - FREE SAMPLE
