  • My favorite is still Bacchanal but this was a good contender. We had the pleasure of going to Wicked Spoon yesterday morning to see what the hype was about. For a Saturday morning, there was not a lot of people in line as we were served quickly. The whole thing cost nearly $80 for breakfast which was definitely on a high price point. That would kind of shoo me away as I can bring my business elsewhere. The service was on point as we were served every beverage we needed. The cool part about it was the water bottle in the middle so we can serve ourselves without having to wait. But water should be the last thing in your mind as the food here truly delivered in flavor. They stayed true to breakfast as they had many options from scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal and more. The good part was that they offered more food so you're not only eating breakfast plates. I wanna say it was a bit like brunch. We were able to try different dishes like mac and cheese (definitely worth a try), squid-ink pasta (TRY IT), pizza, fried chicken and more. My favorite was actually the scrambled eggs. I know, it's basic but I loved how they seasoned it! It was one of the best ones I've tried! I also got chicken sausage but that was a bit underwhelming. It was a bit on the stale side as it's been sitting there for a while. I wasn't a fan of that one. The desserts were on point. They had apple cobbler but it was a bit on the sour side. One thing, I do suggest getting are the bread pudding and the donuts! Bread pudding was sweet and flavorful upon every bite. And the donuts look like they were stale but soooooo soft inside. I wish they sold them at a bakery because I'm going to be a regular for those batch. Hot cocoa was also available there which was rich and chocolaty. I highly recommend getting it because it was absolutely delicious. All in all, it's worth a try, but the menu could use some work. Usually, I would get something from the Asian section but there was nothing appealing there. All I ask is more choices. Having experienced Bacchanal which was about the same price, they had more choices and all plates stood out. Nonetheless, still a good buffet to try in Vegas, but at the price and choices, I would have a second thought about it. The only thing that keeps it to a four-star to me is that all the dishes I picked were yummy in their own way.
