After growing up on the other side of the country, I have to admit I don't understand the Great Lakes states' love of Sheetz. On the other hand, I am slowly becoming a fan. I've realized that they actually offer more than the "gas station food" I associate with road trip desperation. I haven't tried anything from the made-to-order counter, but their coffee is legitimately good. I had a cappuccino at this location that wasn't Starbucks or independent shop quality, but rivaled Panera and Dunkin for sure. I also had a chocolate cake donut that was quite tasty.
The coffee girl I talked to was very pleasant, the store seemed clean enough, and I got my order in under 5 minutes for under $4. I started this off as a three-star review, but I can't really think of a reason to take that second star away.
