  • Bliss Entertainment Review I hired Bliss Entertainment for my wedding last weekend. Through the whole planning process Ryan was awesome. He helped answer questions and was always there. That's where it ended. . The day of the wedding rehearsal I received a text message he was unable to be there to due personal issues and he was sending another person. I understand things happen and I was fine with that. The rehearsal went well and I was excited for my wedding. On my wedding day the music was going as planned. When I met my husband at the alter I quickly noticed he wasn't wearing a lapel microphone as discussed so our guests could hear our vows. That kind of upset me. Friends and family traveled across country to be at our wedding and they should have been able to hear our vows. As we entered our reception the music was on point. I met our DJ that was filling in for Ryan because I guess he couldn't come. He never mentioned he wasn't going to be at our actual wedding. During dinner we requested slow dinner music to be played. When you can tell everyone was done with dinner the slow music was still playing. My brother went to ask Ed if he could speed up the music and play some dance music and he said "No!". He stated he was to play it for another hour. My brother let Ed know that I requested to speed it up and he got into my brother's face. I went up to meet Ed as I never met him before and he admitted he didn't have a schedule or any idea what music to play. I put all the information on the planning pod as I was told and it was in front of him yet none of the music I wanted played was played. The guests sat most of the night because there was no line dance music or dance music in general. In our contract we were to have an Emcee. There wasn't one. Ed, the DJ, never left behind the booth and when he was speaking you could barely hear him. He never announced when we were cutting our cake or any other activities. My photographer also approached Ed to request he let her know before events happened so she could prepare and he never did. He also approached her and said I requested she follow me around the tables, which I never said, and so she mentioned it to me and I was surprised. The photographer is a close from so I had no problems advising her where to be. I always give a company the benefit of the doubt and did attempt numerous times after the wedding to contact Ryan and received no response. The services Bliss Entertainment provides sets the mood for the whole wedding and the mood was what I didn't want. I spent a good amount of money on a service that I did not receive. I will say the photo booth and attendant were amazing along with the lighting. Wish I could say the same about the rest.
