  • For some strange reason my windshield breaks within months of buying a car or having a new windshield installed. I must have a cloud of desert rocks hovering over me. This time I decided to go local instead of using Safelite. The whole process was so much easier. It took one phone call, during which a three way call with the insurance company was made. As soon as the insurance claim was completed, we settled on a date and time that fit my schedule. The installer showed up on time and was no nonsense in getting the work done. Our windshield looks great and I am crossing my fingers that my proverbial cloud of rocks has moved on.
