I was near here and decided to stop here for lunch with a friend.
The location itself is hidden. They have signage, however the parking and entrance are a little tricky as they are in the back and tricky to find. Don't give up! It's well worth the trouble.
The space is simple and clean. The booths were a little strange but ambiance is not the thing here. This is my reason for 4 stars.
The service was good, friendly and informative. I had some questions on the menu and about how to eat the food and she was helpful.
The food is so delish. They started with some complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered the pupusa platter and it was so.darn.good! They are pan fried pancake sized corn masa discs stuffed with savory ingredients. I had the chicarron, bean and cheese and also a cheese and blossom (I don't recall the name of the flower but it added such a delicate taste to the cheese and masa). Everything was well seasoned, fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back. I didn't have dessert but I saw an order of the banana burrito with ice cream that left me wishing I had room for it. Til we meet again! Yum!
