We have been to this park for Remembrance Day Services for years. I wish this was one big gathering instead of all the Remembrance Ceremonies around the city. It would be powerful for current vets to experience.
I think it is the most beautiful place to salute our fallen soldiers and current and retired soldiers. The cold, November chill on some Remembrance Days really makes you think about the conditions past and present soldiers faced or face.
For some odd reason, they don't publish this park in the list of Remembrance Day Ceremonies online or in any papers. None the less, we attended and there must have been hundreds of people.
Challenge: What can you/me/we do in our life to honour our vets?
