  • This is the worst Vons I have ever been to in my life. First time I came here there were two black girls racing dangerously through the aisles and also through people waiting in line with electric carts. Neither of the girls were physically disabled. This was going on for quite some time and neither management or security did anything. Finally, one of the girls actually ran into a cart of an elderly lady, which lead to the cart smashing into the elderly woman's arm. The girl immediately denied it, yelling that the elderly woman purposefully pushed her cart in front of her. Guards did nothing. Let the girls go, whom miraculously could walk. This is an incident where someone was injured, therefore the police should have been called. I hope that woman is in the process of filing a law suit again Vons for allowing that to happen.I was pretty upset at myself for not doing anything about it. I could have at least taken pictures of the girl's license plates, given it to the lady, and helped her file a law suit. But, I was just livid and wanted to get out of their as fast as possible, which btw, is very difficult. The store is often understaffed (however no shortage of useless guards and managers whom stand around doing nothing) and the lines are always really long. This place is just so freaking ghetto. Well worth driving further to another grocery store. Not only because it's so ghetto, but also quality of food sucks and they don't really have much anyway. Smiths is certainly a better option if you live in this neighborhood. There's also an Albertsons on Flamingo. Never been though.
