| - I can feel my middle aged, mom hair, mini van, self coming on. I've had pretty slow service in the past, but last night I went to meet up with friends after Comic Con, and heard one the rudest things a owner could say. My drink was super strong, (I had my buddy try it and he agreeded.) So I approached Jonathan, the owner, and told him about my drink. His response? "Suck it up." Now, I work with the public at a grocery store. Had a customer came up to me complaining about rotten fruit, and I told them to "suck it up," I would have been fired. At the very least, written up. No questions asked.
Granted, he eventually did get me another drink, but to actually say something like that is outrageous. Especially if you're an owner. Customer service should be your number one priority. Poor customer service= poor sales. (It's kind of a no-brainer.) Also, their policies on video games is wishy-washy. One night a private gaming area is free. Last night it was a $30 minimum. I'm not sure if it was because it was an event, but I've been after the Lvl Up Expo, and it was free.
Slow bartenders, over priced, poorly mixed drinks, and rude management. A cocktail of disaster.
Do yourself a favor: Go to The Millennium Fandom. The staff and management are really friendly, and from what I've heard, the owner is "a sweetheart." More of a loungey vibe; but if you're into D&D games, this is the spot.
That's my review. Suck it up.
