I went there as a recommendation from a friend, as a good salon for a guy with thinning hair.
You do need to make a reservation before going.
Pros:
- friendly staff
- complementary coffee
- hair wash included
- great cuts
Cons:
- expensive ($50 for a guys haircut) (-0.5 star for the price)
- reservation only
- parking can be difficult to find
Haircuts (5/5 stars):
I have thinning hair, and the barber I went to before charged $20 but the hairstyle would look really bad after only a few weeks.
+ The haircuts are quality and take about 40 minutes to complete.
+ The stylists only use scissors.
+ the hairstyle looks good for at around 3 months.
Service (5/5 stars):
I went there around 6 times, and got serviced by 3 different people (Due to the original one taking vacation...) I never had a bad experience. Both Noelle and Joanne are amazing.
Very friendly staff, they pay attention to detail and follow your wished. They wash your hair (if your hair is really long, they cut a bit first then wash it) before finalizing your haircut.
Ambiance (5/5 stars):
The whole room is very well lit and they have a receptions. As soon as you walk in, someone takes your jacket and provides you with a robe.
They offer you coffee before you even sit in your seat. Depending on how busy it is, there might be a few people servicing you; one washing your hair, one cutting it.
Parking: There is street parking available on Windermere Avenue but it is usually pretty busy. They got a few parking spots right by the salon, but they are almost always full. (-0.5 star for parking)
If you want a quality haircut and do not mind paying the price it is worth a visit.
