  • This review is for the Birchmount & Sheppard location. Like someone else mentioned, this place is definitely not the place to go if you're looking for a manicure or pedicure. My sweet sister in law took me here the other day for a treat but it turned out to be a disaster. A rather funny and hilarious one mind you - if you can find the humour in it. So we book a pedi/30 min. foot massage together. I end up in a very small room beside another woman who was getting her nails done. That is it. One room with a pedicure seat and manicure seat. Like someone else also mentioned, they put your feet in a bucket of water (lined with a fresh bag but still). The lady that did my nails was nice enough but my feet weren't exfoliated/scrubbed like I'm used to (so wah wah, they're still dry). My sister & I were texting each other back and forth, trying to keep straight faces. At this point we probably should have left. A lady took my sister in law to get her massage done first. They ended up putting her IN THE WAITING AREA. As she was sitting there awkwardly getting her massage, a creepy dude came in, sat across from her, AND WOULDN'T STOP STARING. What kind of relaxation is supposed to happen if you have strangers creeping you out!? When it was my turn for a massage and her turn for a pedi, they finally put us in the same room. The girl doing the foot massage was great .The other girl (and yes I say girls, they were so young!) doing my sister's pedi had NO CLUE what she was doing. When we tried to talk to the salon manager (who was really rude to her staff) about how the experience was unacceptable she would not hear our complaints. She brushed us off and wouldn't look us in the eye. I should have been more rude and vocal, perhaps asked for a partial refund, because it was the most ridiculous salon I/we have ever been to. Overall - do not go here for a manicure or pedicure. If you go in for a foot massage, be very specific with what you want done and where (aka a private room where you can actually RELAX) Another weird point? Lots of men coming in and going to the back area that looked like a very run down spa. No clue what's going on back there but it was awkward.
