  • TL;DR -- It's a nice place with very kind staff, but you could definitely get better for the same price. - -- - -- - -- - Walking In :: I had a good 15 minute wait time due to it being extremely busy (it was about 4:45pm so I can't blame them) but it gave me a good time to decide what I wanted done. The manager came by when he saw me and was extremely friendly and answered my questions about pricing and such. He had handed me the color chart to pick a color behind hand but before I could really look, another girl swooped in and asked for them to show another client. Nothing too bad, really. Consultation :: When I was sat down (by this point- it was 5:00pm or so), the lady helping me asked what I want. I explained I wanted a fill. Sensing a language barrier, she asked if I were fluent in cantonese, which i wasn't. I opted to communicate with her in Mandarin, which worked out. Those who only speak english or very little chinese might find difficulty by this point. We went right to work. Process :: extremely smooth and everything went out without a hitch. I didn't get cut by the drill bit so that was a bonus for me (some always seem to cut). She gave excellent suggestions on designs as I wanted something simple. We were also able to carry a light conversation along the way. I chose a royal blue with two grey plaid accent nails. Now. It cost me $40 to do a biogel refill, and another ten for the design. Now the design is normally $2 a nail, they said. But I was charged $10 because it was $1/striping tape, so each little piece was a dollar. OW. I had already declined cuticles as it would cost $5 to do, but $10 for a total of 10 little pieces hurt the wallet. Payment :: They take both debit and cash, and there's an option to do both (pay some with cash, some with debit) so that helps for anyone unable to pay in cash due to shortage (like me!) They also charge tax if you use your card! I paid a total of $51.30 so not too bad, I guess? lol.
