Vegas Pizza Crawl 2016: Being from NY I normally would never bother trying "NY style" pizza in Vegas but after how daunted we'd been by the multi-hour line at Oyster Bar in Palace Station we wanted something relatively fast and cheap, and that devolved into deciding to try ALL the pizza at NY, NY.
This was surprisingly not as bad as I was expecting considering all the awful "NY style" pizza I've been subjected to in LA, but it was not as good as the pizza at the Nathan's by the arcade (not at New York Pretzel which serves Nathan's hot dogs, but the standalone Nathan's by the arcade). The sauce here was sweet and had a weird aftertaste. Had to cover it with chili flakes and oregano. The crust wasn't bad but it had the wrong kind of crunch. Skip this one and go to Nathan's by the arcade and get a slice, a hot dog, and cheese fries.
