  • My husband stayed at the Mansions on 5th for a business trip last month, and knew that I would love the decor - Tudor style with lots of intricate detailing on the woodwork inside. I believe Frick's lawyer lived at the mansion we visited. The hotel was completely booked due to a wedding party, but we did go to the bar and have a drink before leaving. The drink list is pretty interesting with three drinks from that time period when Pittsburgh was a prominent steel industry. I had the aviation which really wasn't my cup of tea. It was a solid classic cocktail which I can appreciate, I just didn't care for the creme de violette. My husband had one of the historic drinks which was made with creme de menthe, and he absolutely loved it.
