  • Their fried fish is always a win. When coming to town, we always drive a little faster to get there for this. Their cocktail list is pretty impressive, too. These things alone almost makes the two plus hour wait tolerable. That said, Franklin Delano was their cheese curds awful. The breading was completely soaked with grease. It's like they dumped the fryer oiler into our basket. The curds were a melted mess of cheese and doughy breading and fryer grease. Not appealing, sorry. You're literally in the middle of Wisconsin, how do you screw up Cheese Curds? It made me wish Buffalo Wild Wings could teach you how to cook according to their low standards. Pro tip to wait staff that wants 20 percent. If your table orders something and stops eating it after a couple of bites, perhaps you should ask of everything is alright. But you'd have to actually walk past your tables every now and again to know that. So, I understand. You were probably too busy to do your job.
