A friend and I went looking for a place for breakfast after cruising by his favorite place and seeing it was packed. We drove by this spot and decided to give it a try. We were happily surprised, sort of.
We sat outside on a nice Sunday morning. The location is pleasant and is not noisy, even with cars driving by.
We both a had breakfast. He had the chorizo omelet and I had the French toast. Both items were good but to be honest could have been better. For the price my friend could have had a more substantial amount of home fries with his meal. There weren't very many. The omelet was nice and fresh and he enjoyed it.
I had the French Toast. It had good flavor, but to be honest, I could only eat part of it. The crush on the bread was so hard it made it difficult to cut even with the knife they gave me. I would choose a softer bread that soaks up more egg. It would make a big difference. My sausages were outstanding. Tender, moist with lots of juice and flavor.
Service was a little slow, but not bad for as many people that were eating here. We had OJ and my friend thought it was fresh squeezed. I wasn't sure, but it was good.
I'd recommend this spot, if your not in a hurry but want good fresh food.
