  • Four of us went for a little later lunch this past Saturday and we all enjoyed our visit to Bakn! Although it's a small place and can get extremely busy, it felt fresh, laid back and welcoming. The choice of music was very nice too-always a plus! Our server was a little bit more laid back than we are used to but it all worked out. Two in our group declared their bloody mary's the best they ever had. Another raved about the mimosa. My seasonal sangria was nothing spectacular but it was refreshing. The bacon sampler that we all shared was a hit too. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much. I had the salmon with polenta and greens--it was an excellent choice. My husband had the stuffed cubenell peppers with the egg on top--he loved, loved, loved it! The menu is diverse enough that everyone should be able to find something. And, it's creative enough that it feels like you have to move out of your comfort zone to try something that you may otherwise never have for lunch. It was a good choice! Definitely a place to repeat.....!
