I live around the corner from this store, and I am in the store 3-4 times per week. I was in the store at 7:00 on a Saturday night (about 30 minutes ago) for 2 pieces of pizza and a few beers. My bill was $33.00, but that is typical of AJ's. It's an expensive place. In any case, today I was the only customer trying to buy food from the deli. There were 3 employees in the deli, but I had to scream at the employees for assistance. An employee named Mario looked right at me, but continued with his conversation with his fellow employees. Look, either you open for business or you are not. When you are open, you can't ignore customers. I complained to the purported manager Jessica, but she didn't even apologize. She just sent me on my way with a very unapologetic demeanor. I suggest Safeway across the street. The service may not be spectacular, but at least the prices aren't outrageous.
