  • This Sobeys store is wayyyy better for shopping than at Co-op if you ask me. I can get more for my money and I do not need to belong to their club to get all the weekly sales. The produce is fresher IMO. The downfalls - when things are on sale they often run out of my fave things on the shelves/in the back OR the shelves are not stocked often enough. I also have to do without my trusted President's Choice brand. Normally when it comes to food, I will not buy any other store name brand. On the flip side, Sobeys will have other products that I cannot find anywhere else. IE my fave Thai noodles. Cashiers are friendly, there are handy self check-outs, parking lot is accessible unlike the Superstore which I find to be a shopping cart mess a lot of the time. Plus I find putting a deposit on a shopping cart silly. BIG BONUS at Sobeys for night owls and shift workers - this Sobeys is open 24 hours a day. You can take a stress free breath when you walk in here late night as there are very few people shopping/in line.
