| - I suggest you go here for the drinks, because the bartender is decent.
Just to break it to you, any coal-fired oven burns at around 800-1000 degrees depending on where you measure from. It's a cute gimmick, but come on. It also took far too long for us to have our burgers prepared.. and they were overcooked. Perhaps you should place them on the 800-degree side of the oven?
So-so food. With time, it might get better. The bartender seems to know mostly what he's doing, though. I didn't want to test him too much after biting into my burger.
On the fries: duck fat can be a beautiful thing. It is not a beautiful thing here. I'm not sure what they did, or if I was there on an off-night, but these fries were far from beautiful. I was saddened, because duck fat is, again (not to beat the point to death), a beautiful thing.
If it's still around, I'll probably try it again in a few months, to see if it's ironed out its "kinks" as they say.
